Creme de Cacao (Brown)

Crème de cacao is a cacao (chocolate bean) flavoured liqueur with a smooth chocolate and vanilla bean flavour and a dark mahogany colour

It is different from chocolate liqueur, which is usually sweeter and more syrupy. Crème de cacao is available in both dark and white (clear) varieties where colour is their only difference.

If a drink recipe states just Crème de cacao, the white (clear) variant is usually the correct one to use.

A chocolate-mint liqueur inspired by the famous mint chocolate. Drink it straight or mix with Irish Cream for an interesting after-dinner drink.

Hazelnut Liqueur

A hazelnut flavoured liqueur made primarily from the distillation of the infusion of toasted hazelnuts into alcohol and water. It is flavoured with toasted coffee and cocoa, vanilla berries and rhubard root.

Cloudberry Liqueur

Cloudberry Liqueur is a bright yellow liqueur with a bitter-sweet taste of cloudberries.

It is made by soaking cloudberries, orange raspberry-like berries which grow wildly in Finland and other parts of northern Scandinavia, in alcohol for two to six months before it is sweetened and bottled.

Pear Brandy Liqueur

Pear Brandy is a golden yellow liqueur with a scent and taste reminding of the fruit. It is a dessert liqueur and is often drunk straight, but also makes an excellent ingredient in cocktails. One popular mis is Pear Lumumba - mix Pear Brandy and cacao milk.

Orange Brandy

Orange Brandy is a dry liqueur that is often drunk straight. Ot try this refreshing drink:

1/4 Orange Brandy
3/4 Sparkling Wine or Cider

Serve with a slice of orange.

Blue Curacao

Distillates of oranges, lemons and curaçao fruit are blended to compose this extremely versatile liqueur, brilliant sky-blue in colour and with the typical bitter citrus taste. Originally named "liqueur de ciel" or "heavenly liqueur", invented on the island of Curacao, one of the Dutch Antilles, in the 19th Century, it has conquered the world and is now one of the classics.

Blue Dragon

3 parts Mandarin Vodka
1 part Blue Curacao

Green Curacao

Sweet and with the characteristic aromatic citrus taste. This is one of the classics and is mainly used in drinks for its fresh citrus flavour and the colour.

Green Elevator

4 cl Gin
2 cl Green Curacao

Mix in a tall glass with icecubes; fill with 7-Up®.

Italiano Liqueur

This famous Italian herbal liqueur, in its characteristic long bottle and with a very yellow colour, has an up-front flavour of aniseed and vanilla, both quite strong, but contains over 40 other herbs, berries, roots and flowers.

Hot Shot

2 cl Italiano Liqueur in a 6 cl shot glass

Strandier Liqueur

Strandier is a first class orange flavored liqueur. It is made from Cognac flavoured with the peel of bitter Haitian oranges, spices, and vanilla.

Irish Coffee Liqueur

Irish Coffee liqueur is a liqueur made from coffee and Irish Whiskey. Drink on the rocks or in mixed drinks.

Strawberry Cream Liqueur

Strawberry Cream is a creamy liqueur with a fresh strawberry flavour. Serve well cooled in a shot glass or use as a mixer. Mix using Tequila for a drink similar to Baha Rosa.

Swiss Chocolate Almond

Swiss Chocolate Almond is a delicious blend of dark chocolate and almond. Mix with hot coffee to get the trendy coffee taste.

Irish Cream

Based on Irish Whiskey and cream, it has a light chocolate and vanilla flavour with faint perceptions of coconut and coffee.

Irish Dawg

3 cl Swedish Vodka

Coffee Liqueur

A really well balanced liqueur with a touch of bitterness at the end just like coffee, hints of molasses on a base of neutral grain spirits.

Black Russian

1 part Coffee Liqueur
2 parts Vodka

Mia Theresa

Mia Theresa is an exiting rum based coffee liqueur made from the finest ingredients only. Classy and balanced, not too sweet, but just enough to balance the coffee bitterness. Faint aftertaste of herbs.

Captain-Lieutenant Liqueur

The story is that once upon a time, probably in the 19th century, this liqueur was invented in a restaurant where two Swedish officers - a captain in the army, and a lieutenant, had a grand meal together.

After the meal, they ordered coffee, but they could not agree on what to drink with the coffee. The lieutenant prefered Eau-de-Vie and the captain prefered a Benedictine liqueur. The innovative bartender then mixed both into one drink and the officers both agreed this was a superb drink to go with the coffee.

The mix of brandy and Benedictine, has later been improved further with the addition of (secret) herbs as well as the original components.

Peach Cream Liqueur

Peach Cream is a smooth cream liqueur with a soft and refreshing peach flavour.

 

Sambuca

it's licorice flavor is from the fruit of the Elder bush. This colorless liqueur is sweet, velvety and intensely flavoured. It is quite often served with coffee beans added. Italian tradition says an odd number of beans with sambuca tells guests they are welcome, but an even number sends a different message.

Almond delight

3 cl Sambuca
2 cl Almond Liqueur

Black Sambuca

The name Sambuca originates from the latin name of the elder tree - sambuca nigra, growing in abundance in Italy from where its oils are used in its production, before adding the white elder blossoms, which after distillation, along with the aniseeds and other ingredients, create the unique flavour with its dark purple-black colour derived from elder berries.

A perfect after dinner drink or as an apperitif, served with a twist of lemon - or use it in drinks, here is one of many:

Black Widow

30 ml Citron Vodka
30 ml Black Sambuca

Coconut Liqueur

Coconut Liqueur has the gentle flavour of coconut. Drink "on the rocks" or mixed in drinks.

 

Liqueur 45

Liqueur 45 evolved from a thousand-year-old secret formula which uses only natural ingredients. The original name itself derives from the 43 basic elements which compose it, principally fruit and fragant herbs, all carefully selected, which make Liqueur 45 a unique and unmistakable drink, completely different from every other known liqueur, thus creating an entirely new category.

Spanish coffee

1 part Liqueur 45
2 parts hot Coffee
Whipped cream
Ground Cinnamon

Pour Liqueur 45 and coffee into an irish coffee cup. Float whipped cream and sprinkle a little cinnamon on top.

Cherry Brandy

A rich, full liqueur made from the juice of ripe, dark red cherries. Kernels, crushed while pressing the cherries, add a well-balanced almond flavour to the cherry juice. Extracts of various carefully selected herbs and spices adds the final touch to this well-balanced liqueur.

Amaretto - Almond Liqueur

Brilliant, bright amber hue. Spirity almond and spice aromas. A lush entrance leads to a moderately full-bodied palate with moderate sweetness. Explodes in flavor on the mid palate. Precise, persistent finish.

Amaretto Sunrise

1 cl Amaretto
12 cl Orange juice
A splash of Grenadine

Creme de Menthe (green)

Creme de Menthe is a classic green peppermint liqueur which really taste like leaves of peppermint. A refreshing green colour, it is smoothly drinkable, like sucking down liquid peppermints.Try sipping it straight while eating strong dark chocolate.

Creme de Menthe (clear)

Creme de Menthe comes in two varieties - green or clear. When a recipe calls for creme de menthe, the white variant is usually the correct to use. The difference in taste is very small.

Swedish Punsch

Punsch is a Swedish liqueur - and yes, it the spelling is Punsch, not Punch. The name is imported, it probably originates from the sanskrit word "panca" - meaning five. When Swedish sailors heard it in the 18th century, it sounded like "punj". The ingredients are indeed five; Arrak, water, lemon, tea and sugar.

Punsch became the drink of the Swedish social life in the 17th to the 19th centuries.

Drink it hot with food (peasoup is the traditional food with punsch) or cold with coffee.

Rum Creme

This very smooth liqueur is based on Austrian high alcohol rum and cream with flavours of vanilla and caramel. Best enjoyed on its own over ice or in hot coffee.

Peach Whisky Liqueur

The strength of fine scotch whisky blended uniquely with velvet smooth peach liqueur makes this liqueur a masterpiece.

Triple Sec Liqueur

Triple sec is a strong, clear orange-flavored liqueur. It is sweet, but not cloying.

While triple sec usually would mean "triple dry", it here mans "triple distilled". In addition to the generic brand Triple Sec, Curaçao, Cointreau, and Grand Marnier are also triple secs.

Delta Sunset

6 cl Cointreau
6 cl Triple sec
6 cl Lemon juice

Mix with ice in a shaker glass and strain in a cocktail glass over ice.

Passiona

Passiona is a liqueur made from passion fruit juice. It is best served on the rocks, or mixed with chilled orange or grapefruite juice.

Mexican Stand-Off

1 cl Vodka
2 cl Tequila
1 cl Passiona

Layer in the above order.

Whisky Liqueur

After the unsuccessful Scottish rebellion of 1745, Bonnie Prince Charlie was given sanctuary by a Captain McKinnon. As a token of his gratitude, the prince gave McKinnon the secret royal recipe for "an dram bruidheach" - 'the drink that satisfies". The Mckinnon family kept the knowledge under their bonnets for ages. In 1906, they finally went public with the whisky liqueur with an anglisized version of the original name. Although the recipe is still a dark secret, scotch whisky is the base with the addition of heather, honey, peat, herbs and spices. 80 proof.

Mississippi Liqueur

This American liqueur is based on bourbon (bourbon, however, is not the predominant flavor). Moderately sweet with peach and citrus flavors. 76 proof.
