Hambleton Bard UK Ltd was founded in the mid 1970's. The company became the European leader in beer brewing and related technologies (CO2 kegs, pressure barrels, cartridges etc - all patented technology). During the 1990's we expanded into winemaking, specialising on very fast fermentations (which spun off the turbo yeasts where we are now the worlds largest exporter with our Alcotec brand) and we now have our own production plant in Gothenburg, Sweden. We are experts in extreme wine fermentations, turbo yeast, home distillation - as well as the original beermaking we started out with many years ago.
We know all about essences, stills, activated carbon, hops, beer yeast, malt, how to make moonshine, high alcohol wash for distillation etc. We stock a full range of homebrew products, accessories like syphons, air locks, cork, corkers, cappers - everything you need to ferment or bottle your wine, produce alcohol or brew your own beer.
