Alpha acid: 13.5-15.5%

Beta acid: 7-9%

Co-humulone (% of alpha acids): 37-40%

Use: Dual purpose. Various ales.

Pacific Gem is one of few hop types with high alpha content but with a moderate aroma. If used as late kettle addition, or dry hopping, there will be notes of oak and brambles.

Use: Dual purpose. Lagers and Ales.

It's citrus flavours and aromas are well suited for balancing the sweetness of the malt in rich ales, especially if used in moderation ad a finishing hop. Also perfect for balancing dry lagers with early kettle additions for bitterness.
